We did eventually bag several skinks despite the best intentions of the hawks.

Back at the Ridge Owen and I explored a rotten stump near the accommodation and found a Solomons forest skink (Sphenomorphus solomonis) and a Dwarf tree gecko (Hemiphyllodactylus typus).
