TIMOR-LESTE (Lautem Distr.)

TIMOR-LESTE REPTILE & AMPHIBIAN SURVEY
JACO ISLAND

In the evening, while I worked on this blog, Hinrich took some of the team back to the limeston cliff-face to locate more Bent-toed geckos (Cyrtodactylus sp.). They found a variety of specimens of differing size guilds and colour patterns which may represent two species. They also caught another Common house gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus) on the same rock wall but no snakes were in evidence this evening.

Bent-toed geckos,
Cyrtodactylus
sp.
