TIMOR-LESTE (Lautem Distr.)

TIMOR-LESTE REPTILE & AMPHIBIAN SURVEY
TWO KRAITS

When Sven and the boys got back we were surprised to learn they had only found three lizards on the island but on the walk back from the village to the resort they had collected a pair of Timor flying lizards (Draco timoriensis) and a Leschenault's snake-eyed skink (Cryptoblepharus leschenault).

They were very careful to impress on us that the Draco were not from Jaco! It was clear that today's trip to Jaco had not been as successful as the one the day before, but hey, that's fieldwork!
