Blue-Chip Natural History

Below is an incomplete list of documentaries that Mark worked on, largely through the 1980s and 1990s. This consisted of providing reptiles (primarily venomous snakes) for studio shoots in the UK [indicated in blue], filming adders in the wild in the UK [indicated in orange] or working on shoots on location [indicated in green]. The list is incomplete because Mark worked on a great many productions during the late 1980s and early to mid 1990s and some of these have been lost in the mists of time, such as when he took 12 cobras of nine different species to Bristol for one shoot, or a similar number of rattlesnakes on another occasion. When these production details are uncovered they will be added.

Presenter-led Natural History

Mark appeared in from of camera as the Presenter of O'Shea's Big Adventure but he was also 'front of camera' in two previous films Giant Snake and Black Mamba. Even further back he was filmed catching boa constrictors and spectacled caiman for a short documentary about the Royal Geographical Society Maracá Rainforest Project, in Brazil, and he also presented a commerical video about keeping snakes. Much more recently Mark filmed two episodes for Series Two of Safari Park, in the UK and Namibia.
