MARK O'SHEA's expeditions, fieldtrips and filming trips are divided into three easily defined chronological time periods:
Before Big Adventure covers the time from the early 1970s, from his early outings in search of British snakes and herping trips to Florida, through expeditions to the tropics for Operation Raleigh, Raleigh Executive, Discovery Expeditions, the Royal Geographical Society, Oxford University's Dept. of Medicine and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. This period also includes early films in Brazil, Venezuela, PNG, Sri Lanka and S.Africa, and ends in 1997.

O'Shea's Big Adventure* covers the five year period, from 1999 to 2003, during which Mark and YAP film crews made 34 OBA films in four series, in 24 countries on five continents. The link below goes to the original O'Shea website although there are plans to update and improve the information about these films and include them on this new website.
* O'Shea's Big Adventure was the title on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel, the series was called O'Shea's Dangerous Reptiles on the UK's Channel 4.
After Big Adventure covers the period from 2005 to the present, and includes all the expeditions and fieldwork on which Mark has been involved or participated since the end of OBA. Included here also is the filming expedition to Namibia for Safari Park.
