O'Shea's Big Adventure finished in production in 2003,
after five years and four series totalling 34 films.
After a break in 2004, Mark then went back to conducting herpetological fieldwork in the tropics
with the occasional film thrown in for good measure.
Between 2005 and 2011 Mark participated in 14 expeditions and conducted fieldwork in S.Africa, Namibia, Borneo, the Iberian and Arabian Peninsulas, American Southwest,
Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste.
He also made a film for UK television in Namibia.
These expeditions are detailed below,
and since several of the projects are on-going,
more will be reported as they are completed.
