The Reptile House was conceived in 1986 and first opened to the public in 1987 (see History). It received a major revamp in 2009 when it was re-branded as Mark O'Shea's Reptile World, with a strong emphasis on species with which Mark had worked in the field or films for his television documentaries. The triple enduring themes of Conservation, Research and Education are visible throughout, especially in the 'zoning' of the exhibits (see Zones).

Mark O'Shea's Reptile World is located in the Discovery Trail outside the Reserves
at West Midland Safari Park.
