Mark is the author of five books and numerous articles.
He has also contributed chapters to books on subjects are varied as Amazonian ecology,
snakebite in the Asian-Pacific region, and endangered species.
Mark is also an avid herpetological book collector, the first room completed in his
Shropshire home was his Edwardian-style library.
