Although this frog may be relatively common, it habit of the canopy, rarely decending to the ground, and laying its eggs in treebole holes, means it is rarely seen. It patterning and highly tuberculate skin mean it is easily recognised and distinguished from other treefrogs, even related species. It grows to 75mm in body length.
