"Venom"

Aluthnuwara, Central Province

Aluthnuwara is located a short distance off the Kandy to Colombo road, dropping down from the Kandian Highlands. We made short excursion there from Gampola.

The only snake we found was yet another Humpnose pitviper (Hypnale hypnale), this is a very common snake in Sri Lanka.
