Loré to Tutuala

To get from Loré to Tutuala it was necessary to return to Lospalos, to resupplyand refuel, and then head east past Lake Ira Lalaro and through Tutuala itself, continuing for a further 8kms on some of the worst roads encountered, down to Tutuala beach, also known as Pantai Walu.

A crocodile mural on a house, crocodiles are very important and part of the mythology of Timor.	Hinrich and the Jets supervise refueling my vehicle.

It was a village near Tutuala Xanana Gusmão sheltered during the war of independence against the Indonesians.
