Afracaimau is a village in the Ossu River valley where we collected specimens of Four-fingered skink (Carlia sp.4). It became known as "the Carlia spot". Hinrich took the team back to this location and they returned with one Carlia and a Timor blindsnake (Ramphotyphlops polygrammicus) from amongst the banana plants and coconut palms.
