Rattlesnake Collection

The United States and Canada are home to 31 taxa of rattlesnakes, 19 of which occur in Arizona and/or New Mexico. Of the remaining 12 taxa, one western US, and one eastern US species are included in the collection of the Chiricahua Desert Museum. spool down to view these taxa, click on images to view enlarged versions

Ten further taxa of rattlesnakes occur in the USA and Canada but outside the borders of Arizona and New Mexico, but these species and subspecies are not currently represented in the collection.
