in the Southwest, several of which are represented in the collection of the

Desert kingsnake, Lampropeltis splendida New Mexico
Western lyresnake, Trimorphodon biscutatus Arizona & New Mexico
The Desert rosy boa (Lichanura trivirgata gracia)
and several additional colubrid species were present in the collection:
Baja ratsnake (Bogertophis rosaliae),
Transpecos ratsnake (Bogertophis subocularis),
Thayer's kingsnake (Lampropeltis mexicana thayeri),
Brown vinesnake (Oxybelis aeneus),
Baird's ratsnake (Pantherophis bairdi),
Northern green ratsnake (Senticolis triaspis intermedia),
but time prevented them being photographed.
